Damon Corr
- originally AFS/NFS and was located on the edge of the village on the road leading to Bleak Down. Niton's fire station survived the post-war period and was the only station manned by 'volunteers' as opposed to retained, but was closed a few years later. Remarks in IW County Fire Brigade Committee Minutes Book suggest this was partly due to the service not being able to exert its authority on the unpaid staff
Simon Adamson
- Niton fire station (8A) closed soon after NFS was taken over by IOW FS |
